Jack Alan Pugh, 86, Wheatland, MO formerly of Sugar Creek, MO passed away March 22, 2016. Services will be 10 am, Monday, March 28 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mt. Washington, Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. Jack was born Jan. 18, 1930 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Northeast High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a tool & die maker for twenty-seven years at the Vendo Company and then retired from Solar Tool & Die after twelve years. He was a member of the Carlisle Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a hard-worker who held two jobs most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Pugh, brother Bill Pugh and sister Dorothy Sampson. He is survived by daughters Sharon Diamond and husband James; Pamela Pugh, all of Wheatland, MO; son Michael Pugh and wife Beth, Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Nancy Sapp, Wheatland, MO; brother Virgil Pugh, Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
