Robert Eugene Quinn, 77 of Indep, passed away on Sept. 5, 2013, at his residence.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Robert was born on January 1, 1936, in Lathrop, the son of Charles Robert and Clara Belle (Dennis) Quinn.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Marines Corps. Robert had worked at Yellow Freight Line as a trucker retiring after 27 years. He enjoyed wood working and listening to country and bluegrass music.
He is survived by: his wife of 39 years, Barbara Quinn, of the home; one son, Ken Booker and wife Trinity, Warsaw; one daughter, Debbie Booker, Indep; one grandson, Kalub Booker, Indep; two brothers, Bud Quinn and wife Fran, Kearney; and Charles Shearer and wife Violet, Liberty.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
