Teresa Lynn Rabideau, 53, of Grain Valley, MO passed away January 1, 2014. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Sunday, January 5, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Teresa was born in Kansas City on December 14, 1960. She received degrees from Park and Baker Universities. Teresa was very active in several service organizations in the community, including CASA, Heartland Border Walk, Harvesters, MS Society, and the Detective White Christmas Dinner. She is survived partner, Kevin Collins and children; Brittany, and Justin Collins, her father, Bob Rabideau, and mother, Cecilia “Suzie Rabideau; sisters; Sherry (Richard) Wollschlager, of Indep., Julie (Clay) Davis of Sitka, AK, and Vickie (Jeff) Handley of Grain Valley. She also leaves 7 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces and nephews, and her best friend, confidant, and companion. Black Lab, Gypsy.
