Vijendra Ramdhani

Vijendra Ramdhani from Blue Springs, Missouri, via Durban South Africa, passed away on June 02, 2020.

He is survived by His wife, Anthea Ramdhani, and his two sons, Samuel and Levi. He is survived by his father Prem Ramdhani and his Mother, Molly Ramdhani, his sister Leena Pillay and her son Rodragus Josiah Pillay, and a multitude of other nieces, nephews and cousins. Vijen was predeceased by his sister’s late husband, Rodney Pillay and father in law Ivan Edward Veronie.

Vijen was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Pastor and friend. His heart for his family and the people of God was matched by no one. Vijen was born in Durban, South Africa, May 15, 1971, he married his gorgeous wife, (in his words) Anthea on May 1, 1998. They moved to the United States after feeling called to become missionaries, they arrived on January 24, 2000.

Vijen and Anthea started Dream Church in Blue Springs in May of 2010, they then moved to Independence and changed the church name to Christ the Rock Church in 2015. Vijen never missed an opportunity to shower people with the love of Christ.

Vijen had a smile that would light up the room. And even if you just met him, you felt like best friends. Vijen spent his life even up to his last moments serving in his Father’s house. He was the first to point you to his Father, to brag on his Father, and to teach about his Father. Vijen could spend hours talking about His Father, his wife and his boys and he was passionate about reaching His Father’s children.

He left a legacy that will continue on, he will be greatly missed.
