Theresa Yvonne Ramirez, 81 of Odessa, MO Ascended peacefully to the Heavenly Kingdom, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at St. Mark Catholic Church with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be a rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday evening following the family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Theresa was born December 17, 1939 in Kansas City, KS to Oliver Joseph Guerra, Sr. and Guadalupe (Velasquez) Guerra and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister- in- law and friend to many. She was a devoted Catholic who practiced her faith daily. She enjoyed spending time with the Red Hat Ladies, reading, classic movies, flowers, and was a world traveler. She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's activities. She was an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She is survived by; her 5 children, Steve Ramirez and fiancé Renee White of Grain Valley, MO, Rosalinda Y. Simpson and husband Mark of Odessa, MO, Alicia Wright of Holden, MO, Regina Cafferata and husband John of Clearwater, FL and Marina Y. Makinen and husband Robbie of Lee's Summit, MO. And a beloved Niece Shamain Dang and husband Truong of Fairfax, VA. She was Blessed with 7 grandchildren, Melissa (Paul Scott), Megan (Austin Gray), Bianca, Taylor (Mike Espicha), Madison, Michael and Matthew. Seven great grandchildren, Michael, William, Adrianna, Kaitlin, Adrian, Harper and Cooper. Two great nieces Sophia and Alessandra. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Ramirez in 1997, a brother, Oliver Joseph Guerra, Jr. and a sister, Carmen Y. Guerra.
