Jimmy Lee Ramsdell Jr.

Jimmy Lee Ramsdell, Jr., 59 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his residence. Cremation is planned with a private family inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Apple Orchard Hospice or to the organization of the donor’s choice. Jimmy was born May 28, 1962 in Huntsville, AL to Jimmy Lee and Laura (Ard) Ramsdell. He and his family moved a lot growing up as his father was in the military. He had worked as a HVAC technician for a number of years. He enjoyed putting puzzles together, painting, fishing, sports and was very patriotic. He had served in the US Navy from 1980-85. He is survived by; his mother, Laura Shy of Blue Springs, MO; 5 children, Laura Ramsdell of Blue Springs, MO, Jonathan Ramsdell II, Arlene Ramsdell and Lorraine Ramsdell all of Boston, MA and Clara Ramsdell of Ragley, LA; 5 siblings, Lisa Walker and husband Alan of Blue Springs, MO, Christine Nevils of Katy, TX, Sabrina Beaty, Luke Ramsdell and James Ramsdell all of DeRidder, LA; 6 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnathan Ramsdell in 1980, his father Jimmy L. Ramsdell, Sr. in 2018, and stepfather Roy Shy in 2006 his stepmother, Vicie Ramsdell.
