Donald Ramsey

Donald S. Ramsey, 89, of Independence, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2003 at his home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2003 at George C. Carson and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to St. Mary�s Carondelet Hospice. Donald was born December 18, 1913 to Murel and Clara Mae Ramsey in Pasadena, CA. Donald was a deacon at Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburg, MO. He was also a member of Teamsters Local #955. His wife Hattie of 67 years precedes Donald in death. He is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Nancy and Donald Schlagle; Independence, MO.; Giala and Joe Eshleman; Phoenix, AZ.; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
