KATE C. RAMSEY
Kate (Catalda) Ramsey of Independence, MO passed away on November 28, 2016. She was 80 years old. Kate was born in Italy and came to the States at 24 years old. Not long after her arrival, she married the love of her life, Louis Ramsey, who passed away in 1989.
In addition to Louis, she was pre-deceased by her parents and two sisters in Italy. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Cataldo and Grazziella Scavuzzo in Italy, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on December 1, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 600 N. Liberty, Independence, MO from 10:00 am until noon. Mass of a Christian Burial will begin at noon. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Kate will always be remembered for her kind and generous heart and –not to be forgotten- her delicious cookies! We will truly miss her.
