James Peter "Jim" Rathke

James P. Rathke, 70, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away May 23, 2016. Services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, May 27 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm before the service at the chapel. Jim was born Oct. 19, 1945 in Bay City, MI and graduated from high school there. He worked for TransAmerica for thirty years then began a sixteen-year career at UMB. He retired in 2011. He loved golfing and was a fan of all sports.
