Ralph Floyd Ray

Ralph Floyd Ray, 88 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his residence. Cremation is planned with private services later. Ralph was born November 11, 1931 in Knob Noster, MO to Thomas D. and Lucy Alice (Mahan) Ray and has been a long-time area resident. He had worked as a truck driver for over 60 years before he retired. He had worked for numerous companies including TG&Y and Yellow Freight. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed target shooting. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #41 in Kansas City for many years. He is survived by his wife Carol of Independence; a son, Darrell Ray of Independence, MO; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Stoffer (Brandon) and Lindsey Ray and 2 great grandchildren, Gavin and Dylan.
