Norma J. Rea

Norma J. Rea, 70, of Wichita, KS, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at the Westley Medical Center in Wichita. Services will be 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 19, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO, 64052. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 pm prior to the service. Contributions to a charity of choice are suggested. Mrs. Rea was born June 4, 1935, in Independence, MO, to Mr. and Mrs. William Gore. She married Jonas Rea in 1951 and spent many wonderful years with him. She loved her family and spending time with her children, and particularly enjoyed playing golf. Norma is survived by her husband, Jonas, of the home; 3 children, Sheree L. Hunt, Muleshow, TX, Shannon L. Heard, Savannah, GA, and Gregory S. Rea, Antioch, CA; 3 grandchildren, Jonas and Fielder Heard, and Holly R.
