Robert William Reeves, Jr., 49, Independence, MO passed away January 25, 2014.
Robert was born December 10, 1964 in Pawnee, OK the son of Robert William and Mary (Lockhart) Reeves, Sr., Robert worked for Quality Janitorial for 26 years as vice president and head supervisor. He was an avid Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan, he especially loved spending time with his grandsons.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Reeves, III, and Jarond Reeves and his wife Barbara; daughter, Amanda Thomas and her husband Ryan; grandsons, Jeffery, William, and Patrick Reeves, and Wyatt Thomas; mother, Mary Bartlett; sister, Jessellen Whitemire; brother, Johnny Reeves; and additional nieces, nephews and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Reeves in 2007 and his father.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brooking Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
