Inez Iretha Rich

Inez Iretha Rich, 85, Independence, MO passed away peacefully with her family nearby April 23, 2006. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm, Sat., April 29, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; cremation. Visitation will begin at 2 pm, Sat. before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Community of Christ. Inez was born March 23, 1921 to Harry Frank Steede and Mary Anna Doretta (Bennett) Steede in Rocky Mountain Cabin, Alberta, Canada. She was a member of the RLDS Church. Inez used her creative talents at home, in church, and at school activities. She enjoyed sewing, camping and traveling. Her life was a living example of devotion and support to her family. Inez was preceded in death by a son Ray Alvin Rich, three sisters, and a brother. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years Donald A. Rich; daughters Janet Inglis and husband Rodney A. Inglis; Donna Walker; Karen Wardle; son Larry Rich and wife Julie; brothers Lyle Steede and Harry Steede; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
