Corey Robert Richardson

Corey Robert Richardson, 20, formerly of Independence, passed away July 23, 2006.
Corey was born Feb. 24, 1986 and was a beautiful baby boy who grew up to be a wonderful and caring young man. He loved hunting and fishing with his Dad, John and his Grandpa, Big John. Corey also loved being with his friends and family; especially all his grandparents, which he loved so dearly; and most of all, his big brother Kyle. His next biggest joy was working on his truck, which was his pride and joy while going to school at Truman High School. He graduated in 2004 and made us all so very proud.
On July 23, 2006, Corey was killed in an automobile accident in Tennessee where he had been working and living since 2005. This precious young man leaves behind many family members and friends who will miss him dearly: his mother and step-father Mindy and John F. Hix; siblings John William Hix and Abby Hix, Independence; big brother Kyle Richardson, Las Vegas, NV; His father and step-mother Ronald K. and Kimberly D. Richardson, and their son Kaleb Richardson, Medon, TN; grandparents William Robert (Bill) and Marilyn Capehart, LyCygne, KS; grandmother Linda Richardson, Drexel, MO; grandparents Big John and Shirt Hix, Sugar Creek, MO; uncles and aunts Larry and Marcie Calvin, Raymore, MO; Danny and Kelly Lacy, Drexel, MO; Mendy Dorris, Blue Springs, MO; Ernie and Sherri Wiers, Larry and Glenda Metcalf, and Rick Smith, all of Drexel, MO; cousins Luke Calvin and wife Jen, St. Louis, MO; Ashleigh Goddard and husband Nathan, Freeman, MO; Derek Lacy, Drexel, MO; Garrett, Tanner, Jonathan, Grace, Sharolyn, Sharise, Kevin, Lisa, Susie and many other cousins, family and friends who were dear to him.
You were a joy to us all, Corey Bob, - a true gift from God from the day you were born. Not a day will go by that you will not be loved and missed. Until we meet again, my beautiful boy,
