Gary Wayne Richardson

Gary W. Richardson, 61, of Independence, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11th from 1-2pm with a memorial service following at 2:00pm, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.
Gary was born February 22, 1957 in Lincoln, NE and was lovingly brought into the home of Dale and Mildred Richardson. He graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City in 1975. Gary will be remembered as a fun, energetic and spontaneous dad, grandpa and friend. He, with his contagious laughter, will be greatly missed. Gary is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Christopher (Venessa) Richardson of Buckner, MO, Lezlie (Eric) Bond of Independence, Heather Richardson of Independence and Allysun Ott of Independence; grandchildren, Elvis, Mason, Mallorie, Jace, Hailie, Zoe, William and Levi; and his sisters, Mary Ricketts of AR and Trudy Latta (John) of MO.
