Colleen Helen Riddle-Vest, 80, of Independence, MO passed away February 28, 2018.
Colleen was born June 21, 1937 to Harold and Helen Shaffner in Boone, Iowa. Colleen was raised by Helen and Nile Brower in Harlan Iowa where Colleen graduated from High School.
She married and raised nine children who she surrounded herself with often.
Colleen was married to Donald L Vest of Independence Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Shaffner and both Nile and Helen Brower, Brother William Brower and two children, William Riddle and Kris Riddle-Martinez.
She is survived by her husband Donald Vest of the home and her children; Rick Christiansen (Kathy), Dennis Christiansen, Scott Riddle, Mark Riddle, Tim Riddle (wife-Wendy) Michael Riddle (wife-Shelley) and Teri Bradbury (husband-Troy) , 19 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren, One sister- Val Laage (husband-John) and several nieces and nephews.
Colleen loved her family more than anything in the world. She enjoyed her church and friends and Loved God above all else. She will be greatly missed.
