Delra Riley

Delra P .Riley, 81, Independence, MO, passed away July 14, 2013. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, July 18 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence MO, 64052; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wed. at the chapel. Delra was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Stover, MO and graduated from Stover High School in the Class of 1949. She worked at the FMC Link-Belt plant for twenty years and then at Broski Brothers Fence Co, for ten years before retiring in 1994. She loved collecting angels of all kinds. Delra was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years D.W. Riley, of the home; son Eddy Riley and wife Lorene; grandchildren Patrick Riley, all of Independence, MO; Cora Riley, Kansas City, MO; great-granddaughter Skyla Riley; niece Jeanie Marriott; nephew Danny Marriott, both of Independence, MO; niece Janice Gras, Magnolia, TX; her special dog, Bear and many other family members.
