Nancy Ellen Rios, 60, Peculiar, MO passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 after a long battle with diabetes.
Nancy was born December 4, 1953 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Joseph S. Rios Mary Margaret Fitzmaurice (Ornelas). Nancy enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Lutes; grandchildren, Christian, Dylan, and Emilee; sisters, Sandra Curry, Cynthia Hammond, Eva Best, Melissa Williams, and Melinda Fitzmaurice; brothers, Mike Rios, Felix Mora, Tom Mora, and Steven Mora; and a host of nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Rios; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64014.
