Kathleen F. Robb, 95 formally of Independence, MO passed away February 27, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 beginning at 1:30 pm at Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, 7920 Harris Raytown, MO 64138. Inurnment will take place in Leavenworth National Cemetery, where she will be placed with her husband. Kathleen was born in Highland Falls, New York on April 9, 1921 to Joseph and Mary (Smith) Biegen. After moving to the Kansas City area as a young adult, she attended St. Mary’s College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. It was in Kansas City that she met and married the love of her life, Thomas J. Robb, Sr. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1998. She taught school for many years at several Catholic schools in the area. Kathleen was a member of the local Art Association and would travel to different venues throughout the state. She enjoyed selling her oil paintings as well as looking at all of the other local artist’s works. Survivors include; daughters Alice Roman, Susan Perry, Bridget Williams, and Kathy Kintz; sons John Robb, Terry Robb, and Thomas Robb, Jr.; 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a large extended family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter Dorothy Robb.
