In loving memory of Robert William Ginavan, III, known affectionately as "Bob", who passed away on June 26, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. Bob was born on November 3, 1956, to his parents, Robert and Katheryn Ginavan, who instilled in him values of kindness and love that he carried throughout his life.
Bob led a fulfilling career at UPS where he worked as a driver for many years. He took great pleasure in work and cherished the friendships he made along the way. Bob dedication and work ethic left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing.
One of the greatest joys in Bob's life was his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Deborah Dickinson. Their love story began early on and endured the test of time, serving as an inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with love and laughter.
Bob was a proud graduate of Van Horn High School, Class of 1974. He furthered his education by earning a bachelor's degree from CMSU (now known as UCM). His commitment to learning reflected his belief in the power of education and personal growth.
Known for his kind heart and caring nature, Bob found true happiness in being a devoted father and grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with his family and took pride in providing for their needs. His selflessness knew no bounds, and his legacy of love will continue to live on through those he leaves behind.
In his leisure time, Bob had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. From watching football, wrestling when he was younger to indulging in outdoor activities like golfing, go-kart racing, fishing, camping, and canoeing - Bob embraced life to the fullest. He also had a passion for reading, with Stephen King being among his favorite authors.
As we mourn the loss of Bob from our lives, let us also celebrate the incredible person he was - a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, loyal friend, and hardworking colleague. His warm smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
