Kathy P. Roberts, 62, of Independence, MO passed away December 12, 2017. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will be 3 pm, Friday, December 22, 2017 at the chapel.
Kathy was born on August 23, 1955 in Russellville, AR and moved to the Independence area at a young age. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy was a member of the Victory Free Will Baptist Church. Most recently she was employed by FCI. The family will forever miss Kathy and loved her greatly.
Survivors include; her husband of 42 years Richard Roberts; son Rick Roberts and his wife Amanda; daughter Sarah Roberts, grandchildren Ameila and Abigail Roberts; sisters Joni, Tela, and Kim; brother Bill; a large extended family and many friends.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Maxine Stogsdill.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
