Suzanne Robertson, 54, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on July 21, 2006 at her home. Suzi spent her time, energy and spirit investing in the needs of others, especially special needs children. Her personality, passion to care, love for others, commitment to her children and family was matched only by the warmth of her smile. She was a driving force and advocate for those who could not speak for themselves. Her deep devotion to ministry and love of Christ was best expressed as a medical foster parent.
Suzi was a member of Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene and served with her husband in pastorates at Mirabile Community Church, Elm Street Church of the Nazarene in Ironton, Ohio and Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene in Independence, MO.
Suzie goes to help prepare a place for her husband, Reverend Dr. Charles Robertson; three sons, Dr. Donald C. Robertson and wife Erika, Kevin Robertson and wife Angela, and her "adopted� son, Raymond A. Hay; mother, Shirley Peacock; brothers, Gary Peacock and wife Wanda, Dwayne Peacock and wife Lynn, Jeff Peacock and wife Joy; sisters, Sharon Bistoff and husband John, Beth Mazur and husband Joe; grandchildren, Jon, Michael, Shawn, Aidan, Ashley and Kirsten; as well as nieces; nephews and their children; and other loving family members and friends. Suzi is reunited with her father, Earl C. Peacock; and her daughter, Ronda "Roo� Robertson.
A visitation will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. Burial at Blue Springs Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The Research Foundation (Research Medical Center).
