Helen Louise Robinson (Bishop)

Helen Louise Robinson, 86, of Blue Springs, MO passed away December 24, 2015. Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the Chapel. Graveside services will be 11am Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Helen was born on August 22, 1929 in Independence, MO to Thomas and Myrtle Bishop. She was a graduate of William Chrisman High School. She retired from Sears after she married her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Robinson. Helen enjoyed playing Bridge, baking, sewing, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Independence, PEO, and Eastern Star. Survivors include; husband Kenneth; daughters Penny Williams (Randy) and Barbara House; son Frank Robinson (Linda); 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws Carol Bishop and Marguerite Miller; many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Clifton McMullen, brother Thomas “JR” Bishop, and sister Merry Lambe. Contributions may be made to PEO Chapter KN, or the charity of your choice in Helen’s honor.
