Harold Robison, 96, of Independence, Mo passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on August 17, 2017. Visitation will be 1-2pm Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at the chapel. Burial, with full Military Honors will take place in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Harold was born on July 7, 1921 in Archer, IA to E.C. and Bertha (Mills) Robison. He was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the Air Force as a Bomber Pilot and achieving the rank of 1st Lt. Harold was Vice President and Director of Retail Operations for Super Valu, Inc. retiring after 29 years. He was very active in his church, Restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving as Elder. It was in this capacity that Harold brought ministry all around the world including Australia, Africa, England, and Taiwan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf in his spare time. Survivors include; his loving wife of 71 years, Jean Robison, daughter Pamela Maybee and her husband Jack; grandchildren Kelli Annin (Matt), Wendy Davies (Shannon), Misty Floersch, and Ashley Bosworth (Brandon); 9 great grandchildren; a large extended family and many friends. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Penny Mackison.
