Robyn Michelle Chiles

Robyn Michelle Chiles, a free spirit with a heart full of love, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2024, in her hometown of Independence, Missouri. She was born on August 10, 1969, daughter to Jerry Wayne and Delores Jean Cantrell. Robyn spent her life spreading joy and warmth to all those around her.

Robyn had a passion for life that was infectious. She graduated from Van Horn High School with the class of 1988 and embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Robyn’s vibrant personality shone through in everything she did - from reading romance novels to scouring thrift shops for hidden treasures. Her adventurous spirit also led her to the casino, where she enjoyed the thrill of games of chance. One of her greatest joys was listening to 70's and 80's rock music, which always brought a smile to her face.

Above all else, Robyn treasured her family. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She found immense joy in spending time with them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Robyn is survived by her loving children, Amanda Chiles, Amber (Brian Roscoe) Chiles, Cory Chiles; 7 adoring grandchildren, Maleah, Ona, Vance, Scout, Ava, Anelia, Annalisa; devoted brother, Kent Cantrell; many nephews, extended family and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into the afterlife.

A visitation in memory of Robyn Michelle Chiles will be held on August 5, 2024, at the Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Missouri. The visitation will take place between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Robyn. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Although Robyn's physical presence may no longer grace this world, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with such a remarkable soul.
