William Rodekopf Jr

December 20, 1922 — August 22, 2017

Bill Rodekopf, 94, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will be held at 10am on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the chapel. Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bill was born on December 20, 1922 in Kansas City, MO to William Sr. and Mamie (Letney) Rodekopf. After graduating from Central High School in 1943, he joined the United States Army. He had a love for airplanes and automobiles, working for TWA and then owning his own car dealership. Most of all he loved his Packard.

Bill will be remembered by his wife Bonnie of Independence, MO; son Brian Rodekopf of Independence, MO; step-son Steven Keller and wife Mary; and granddaughter Rachel Rosenbaum and husband Nick.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathryn, son Gregg, and step-son Terry Keller. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Drumm Farm.
