Orfelina P. "Linda� (Pinon) Rodriguez, 75, of Independence, MO passed away April 28, 2005 at Independence Regional Health Center. Memorial visitation will be Monday, May 2nd from 6 to 8 PM at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. A memorial service will be 2 pm Saturday, May 7th at Pacific Heights Congregation. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to Community Access, 1814 N. Whitney Rd. Indep. MO 64058. Linda was born September 24, 1929 in Independence, MO to Bernando and Maria (de Luna) Perez. During her early years she lived in Cement City, MO, and at the age of 9 went to live in Laredo, TX, where she went to school, played clarinet in the high school band, and graduated from Tirza Martin High School in 1946. After graduation she went to work for Carrillo Forwarding Co as secretary, and later National Carloading Co. as Cashier. Linda married Cruz B. Pinon in 1953 and returned to Independence. She worked and retired from Jensen-Salisbury Laboratories as manager of Latin American Sales. Linda married Raul Rodriguez and moved to San Antonio, TX for several years, and returned to Independence after Raul�s death. She was one of Jehovah�s Witnesses and a member of the Pacific Heights Congregation. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raul Rodriguez; a son Roberto C. "Bob� Pinon. She is survived by her sons, Danny Pinon and wife Helen of Raymore, MO, Frank Pinon of North Kansas City, MO, David Pinon and wife Kelley of Independence, MO; daughter, Marie Bernadette Pinon of Independence, MO; daughter-in-law Kathy Pinon; stepsons, Eddie, David, and Raul Rodriguez, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; stepmother, Mary (Morales) Perez of Independence, MO; sisters, Angelina P. St. Denis, Ruth Stewart and husband Harold, Eva Pinon and husband Carlos, and Martha Perez all of Independence, MO, Rachel Betanzes and husband Jesse of Kansas City, KS, Elizabeth Melahn and husband Jeff of LA; grandchildren, Alex, Chris, Bobby, David, Brandi, Jordan, and Daniel Pinon; four great grandchildren.
