Laura Katharina Louise Rogers

Laura Katharina Louise Rogers, 83, died Thursday, September 8, 2005, at the Ashton Court Care Center in Liberty, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, September 11, at Grace Lutheran Church, Kansas City Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the Ashton Court Activity Fund, or to Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Rogers was born January 23, 1922, in Alma, Missouri, to Carl F. and Mary (Dresselhaus) Horstman. She lived in the Kansas City area for her entire life. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, her twin sister, Lucile, 2 sons, Howard and Kenneth, her daughter Ruth, and step-son Chester Jr.. She is survived by 3 sons, Donald, Clifford, and Gary Rogers; a daughter, Shirley; a step-daughter, Beverly; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and extended family.
