Lucie Rohrbach

Lucie F. Rohrbach, 89, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Lucie was born in Odessa, MO and lived in this area since 1942. She retired from Mid-Continent Public Library in 1983 after 17 years. She was a devout member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ. Lucie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Rohrbach. She is survived by daughter, Patricia J. Boeger (Bill) of Independence, MO; son, Kenneth J. Rohrbach (Carol) of Union, MO; granddaughters, Elizabeth McKerlie of Independence, MO, Christen Arnold (Chawn) of Independence, MO and Audra Arand (Travis) of O’Fallon, MO; three great grandchildren, Coleman Arnold, Chelsea Arnold and Lauren Arand. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, at the Suburban Chapel, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
