Betty Lou Rohrs

Betty Lou (Vance) Rohrs, 79, Independence, Mo. died April 20, 2004 at Regency Care Center. Graveside services will be 11:30 am, Friday, April 23, 2004, at Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 - 11 am, Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to assist Betty�s great-granddaughter at the Melanie Grace Treatment Fund, 1101 S.W. 3rd Street, Lee�s Summit, Mo. 64063. Betty was born Oct. 10, 1924 in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Northeast High School in the Class of 1941. She was an active member of the Women�s Greater Kansas City Golf Association, past member of the Rockwood Ladies Bowling League at Strike �N Spare Lanes, and a member of Rockwood Country Club. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold H. Rohrs, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Freda Rohrs, Indep., MO; granddaughter, Karri Lindmark; grandson, Kenn Rohrs, both of Lee�s Summit, MO; nephew, Tom Rogers, Bogart, MO; one great-grandson and four great-granddaughters.
