Harold Rohrs

Harold H. Rohrs 80, Independence, MO died March 14, 2005 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Officiating will be Harold�s nephew, The Reverend Brad Moody Visitation will be 1-2:00 pm Thursday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to assist Harold�s great-granddaughter at the Melanie Grace Treatment Fund, 1101 S.W. 3rd Street, Lee�s Summit, MO 64063. Harold was born May 28, 1924 in Kansas City, MO. to Charles W. and Grace D. (Harper) Rohrs. He was a Navy veteran, and a member of the Men�s Greater KC Golf Association. Harold is best remembered as the former owner of Rockwood Golf and Country Club, and longtime employee of Ken-A-Vision. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Betty L. Rohrs, who passed away in April 2004. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Freda Rohrs, Indep, granddaughter, Karri Lindmark; grandson, Kenn Rohrs, both of Lee�s Summit; 1 great grandson, and 4 great granddaughters.
