Wilda Romi

Wilda D. Romi, 84, of Gladstone, MO, passed away, Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the Woodbine Healthcare Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the chapel. Wilda was born February 8, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to Harry Curtis and Estelle (Tuttle) Johnson and has been a lifelong area resident. She was an animal lover who enjoyed feeding and caring for all types animals. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crocheting and dancing. She was a Methodist by faith and had attended the New Life Methodist Church. She belonged to AARP. She was previously married to Ralph Olds and Louis George Smith and Louie Robert Romi, who all preceded her in death. She is survived by; 3 sons, Louis E. Smith of Randolph, MO, Ralph E. Olds, JR of Independence, MO and Thomas R. Romi of Kansas City, MO; 3 daughters, Nadine Smith of Independence, MO, Florence Smith of Shawnee, KS and Bonnie Sandusky of Harrisonville, MO; 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
