Robert Lee "Rob" Romine Jr.

Robert Lee Romine, Jr. passed away Aug. 10, 2014. Memorial services will be 2 pm, Monday, Aug. 18 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will begin at 1 pm before the service at the chapel. Private inurnment will take place later at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Rob was born Feb. 1, 1966 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Liberty High School. He attended SMSU and Maple Woods Community College. He was the manager of the Bigger Jigger in the Northeast area of K.C. for six years until 2010. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, boating and was a huge sports fan. Rob was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Romine, Sr. He is survived by his mother Virginia Betts, Edwards, MO; step-sister Mychelle Betts-Fada, Pacific Junction, IA; companion Lu Anne Drinkwater, Kansas City, MO and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
