James Lee Rose, 67, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away, Friday, August 28, 2009 at his residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. James was born October 9, 1941 in Vallejo, CA to Howard and Ruth (Hunten) Rose. He proudly served in the US Army. He had worked for 30 years as a telephone manager for AT&T before he retired. He enjoyed golfing, computers and was a good handyman. He was a member of the American Legion and the Telephone Pioneers. He is survived by; his loving wife Deanna of the home; 3 daughters, Shannon Creason of Grain Valley, MO, Onya Carpenter and husband Kent of Lee’s Summit, MO and Vickey Bowling and husband Brian of Blue Springs, MO; a sister, Carole Gordon and husband Don of Vallejo, CA and 6 grandchildren, Amber Geib, Jesse Lile, Amanda Carpenter, Luke Carpenter, Devon Creason and Sullivan Creason.
