Ann Marie Rous

Ann Marie Rous was born August 29, 1925, in St. Louis and died peacefully on February 14, 2015. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elizabeth and William Rous. Her brother, William Rous II and her nieces, Sumner Roman and CJ Secula and her nephew Bill Rous III currently reside in San Jose, CA. Her body was cremated and buried in St. Louis.
She was member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet for many years. During her years in the community, she taught elementary school in MO and MI. following that career, Ann worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City as a medical transcriptionist from 1967-1979. After retiring from the Hospital in 1979, Ann worked at Avila University at the Whitfield Center. She retired from Avila in 2010.
She lived at Corner Brook Place from 2012 until her death. A Memorial Service will be held there at a later date.
Her niece, Sumner and her brother wish to thank her Caregiver, Sister Ann Landers, CSJ of the CSJ CARE Agency, for her many years of loyalty and friendship, Kristi Wells of the Barr Angency, and the staff of Corner Brook Place and of Gentiva Hospice.
