Sheran Ann Rouse, a woman who loved her family fiercely, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Independence, Missouri. She was 72. Sheran was born to Eugene and Regina Walton on February 13, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri.
After graduating from William Chrisman High School, Sheran married the love of her life, James. They spent the next 45 years creating a life together. She enjoyed helping people and worked as a Medical Assistant for over 25yrs before retiring. Sheran loved to travel. Some of her favorite places were the mountains in Colorado and the beach. She saw the beauty in things and enjoyed tending to her flower garden. Holidays were a favorite pastime for Sheran because she would always look forward to celebrating in any way she could with her family. She had a heart of gold and will be missed greatly.
Sheran is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Rouse; son, James Rouse and wife Ami; grandchildren, Will and Samantha Rouse; 2 bonus grandchildren; brother, Stephen Walton and her beloved cats, Emma and Ellie.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 14th from 6-8pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Sheran’s funeral service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, July 15th with burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens.
