Lucille I. Roush

Lucille I. Roush, 92, of Independence, MO, formerly of Kansas City, KS passed away on Tuesday, November 2nd at Rosewood Health Center at The Groves. Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 6th at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Friday, November 5th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Lucille was born June 3, 1912 in Allen County, KS to Benjamin and Cora (Best) Dozier. She graduated in 1930 from Mildred High School and then went on to Iola Community College to receive her Associates degree. Mrs. Roush enjoyed playing the piano, reading, crocheting and spending time with her family. Lucille is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Charles "Chuck� and Margaret Roush of Georgetown, TX; John and Stephanie Roush of Buckner, MO; grandchildren Tracy and Russell Gilliam, Laura and Larry Fleischer, Karen and Mark Hatchett, Scott and Courtney Roush, John and Cheryl Roush, Susan and Joel Atkeisson, Heather Kelley and April Harmsen; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Buck� Roush in 1988.
