Marvin A. Rowlett, Sr.

Marvin A. Rowlett, Sr. 65, of Sibley, MO passed away Saturday, December 27, 2003 at his home. Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, December 31st at Speaks Buckner Chapel; with interment in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Marvin was born January 11, 1938 in Skidmore, MO to Henry and Lila Rowlett. He had worked as a steel flame cutter for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Delvin R. and Norvell G. Rowlett; sisters, Eugenia Rose Hicklin, Billie Mary McGlathery, and Nina Sue Casey. Marvin is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen Rowlett; children, Marvin Rowlett, Jr. of Sibley, MO, Becky Reaves of Lexington, MO, Dennie Rowlett of Sibley, MO, Theresa Cook of Independence, MO, and Terry Rowlett of Sibley, MO; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
