Jerry Royster

Jerry L. Royster, 66, of Independence, MO passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Speaks Chapel; 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery. Jerry was born March 7, 1946 in Independence, MO to parents Cecil and Helen (Burrows) Royster. He worked throughout his life in mechanics and remodeling. Jerry was a handy man and could fix anything. He was loved very much by his family and will be missed. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his sister, Sandy Bell of the home; sister, Carolyn Hartley, Lee’s Summit, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
