Jesus Ruiz Arellano

Jesus Ruiz Arellano, 53 of Guadalajara, Jalisco has passed away peacefully in the presence of his loved ones and is now resting after a hard fought battle to cancer.

A life filled with joy, strength, and humor! Jesus lived the best life he could, loved his family dearly, and would always put others before him. A man of many skills but he found a passion for garden work and spent long hours to ensure his yard was always looking nice. In his free time Jesus loved a sunny day at the lake or a good grill-out with a cold one in his hand, best believe he never skipped a meal or let a craving pass! Always a very outspoken man, Jesus touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. A hard working father, selfless brother, a loving son, and a good friend; Jesus will forever live in our hearts.

A visitation to honor Jesus will be held on Friday, July 23, from 12-2 p.m., with a memorial service to follow, at 2:00 p.m., both at at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue in Independence, MO. The service will be livestreamed via Speaks Chapels page for those who would like to virtually attend his service.
