Theresa Runyon

Theresa R. Runyon, 61, Buckner, MO passed away Nov. 7, 2018 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Theresa’s Life will be at 11 am, Sat, Nov. 17 at the Heart of God Fellowship, 3720 N Buckner Tarsney Rd, Buckner, MO 64016. Visitation will begin at 10 am before the service at the church. There will be a dinner following the service in the Fellowship Hall at the church.
Theresa was born Aug. 29, 1957 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Blue Springs High School. She was a bank teller at the Buckner Branch of Central Bank of the Midwest. She was the treasurer for Lewis & Clark Trails Days in Buckner for ten years. She was a Kansas City Mavericks hockey season ticket holder. She loved watching Hallmark movies, collecting Cobalt Blue Glass, trips to Branson and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She loved beaches, flower gardens, her Koi ponds, her dogs and cat. She faithfully attended Faith Covenant Church.
Theresa is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years Tim Runyon, of the home; daughters Sabrina Collins, Bon Terre, MO; Angel Harrison and husband Craig, Gladstone, MO; Leesa Wilson and husband Craig; Makayla Runyon, all of Independence, MO; son Charles Runyon, Gladstone, MO; parents Bob and Donna Ritter, Blue Springs, MO; sisters Robin Orr and husband Ray, Blue Springs, MO; Jacque DeWitt and husband Thom, Gladstone, MO and eleven grandchildren.
