Virginia Russell

Virginia "Ginny� Elizabeth Russell, age 93 of Lone Jack, MO died Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at the Lee�s Summit Hospital. She was born October 11, 1909 in Kansas City, MO the youngest child of Mary Eliza and George Anthony. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Anthony and sisters Susan Medora Anthony, Mary Ellen Stephens and Olie Boyle. She is survived by her husband of 76 years Rahe J. Russell, one daughter, Virginia Taylor, two granddaughters and their husbands, Amy and Andy Haun and Polly and Steve Revare, and six great-grandchildren, Ellen Haun, Grace Haun, Polly Haun, Virginia Revare, Graham Revare and Frank Revare. She was an avid golfer and member of Hillcrest Country Club for over 50 years. Her life was one to celebrate, and the legacy of love will be with us always. The family requests no flowers and suggests a donation to the Salvation Army or to the charity of your choice. Cremation. No services are planned, but a memorial visitation will be at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th. St., Independence, MO on Saturday, from 5-7 pm.
