Ryan Sullivan Kent

Ryan Sullivan Kent, born on October 28, 1989, was a cherished individual whose life journey concluded on December 6, 2024. He was 35 years old.

Ryan was a man of many interests and passions. His vivacious thirst for knowledge often drew him toward the fascinating worlds of engineering, physics, and science. He also had an artistic side; he found joy in drawing and painting, expressing himself vividly through his art. His deep passion for music resonated with those around him, and while he possessed a remarkable voice, he was known to keep his vocal talents private.

In addition to his intellectual pursuits, Ryan enjoyed the thrill of wrestling, MMA, and boxing. He found joy in simpler pleasures, such as playing video games and collecting rocks, geodes, and knives, all of which showcased his unique interests and personality. Ryan’s sense of humor and charm made every gathering brighter, often entertaining with his impeccable Scottish accents, especially when playfully conversing with his wife, Lainie.

Ryan also deeply valued family time, enjoying moments spent playing with his children and creating memories during family movie nights. His laughter and zest for life will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who had the fortune to share their lives with him.

Ryan is survived by his beloved wife of 4yrs Lainie; son, Rayder Kent; step-children, Anna Schoenrock, Marley Schoenrock and Emmitt Christensen; parents, Jesse and Mary (Boyd) Kent; siblings, Randon Kent, Riane Kercheval, Brittaney Fola, Duran Kent, Dorian Kent and Britton Kent; and numerous other friends and family members.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Rende Kent.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Ryan's life will be held on December 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Speaks Suburban Chapel located at 18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember a remarkable person whose impact will remain forever in their memories.

Ryan Sullivan Kent's spirit will live on through the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love he leaves behind.
