Jerry F. Salter, 63, Independence, Mo. died May 15, 2004. A Celebration of Jerry�s life will be held at 10 am, Friday, May 21, 2004, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation. Box 493, Indep., MO 64051 please include "In behalf of Jerry Salter�. Jerry was born Dec. 5, 1940, in Kennett, MO. He was a salesman for Gray Bar Electric, Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed working with computers, and the outdoors. Jerry is survived by his wife, Joyce Salter, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Bill Young, Dallas, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Gaylynn and Jared Shrout, Indep., MO; brother, Tom Salter, Roanoke, VA; and grandchildren, Jessica Shrout, Jonathan Shrout, and Cole Young.
