Kenneth Anthony Samrany

June 6, 1944 — February 5, 2006

Kenneth Anthony Samrany, 63, Grain Valley, MO returned to his maker Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at St. John LaLande Catholic Church in Blue Springs, MO; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 8 at Speaks Suburban Chapel where the Rosary will be said at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Kansas City Chapter. Ken was born in Buffalo, NY on June 6, 1944 (D-Day). He joined the Army and was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC where he met his best friend and partner in life, love & business, Vicky. After discharge from the United States Army Special Forces in the late 1960�s, Ken joined American General Insurance Company. In the eleven years he spent with them he was an agent, sales manager, state manager and general agent. He was transferred many places and settled with his family in the Kansas City area in 1977. In 1979 he formed what is now as Life Concepts, Inc. . Ken has been a member of the Leader Producers Round Table President Council and the Million Dollar Round Table. He has also received the Health Insurance Quality Award. Ken never stopped being a student. He always believed education and strong ethics were the key to ones success. He was a great motivator and a positive influence to all of those he touched. Ken was a hard worker, a trusted friend, a good father and loving husband. He was a respected member of the community and true believer in his catholic faith. Above all, family was the most important part of his life. He was the best man many of us will ever know. Dad, you will be missed dearly by all of those who knew and loved you. We will never forget the love and joy you�ve brought in to our lives. See you in Heaven. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Henrietta Samrany; sisters, Diane Warmus and Gloria Jean Samrany and one grandson, Dustin Chase Madison. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Vicky (Venn) Samrany; daughters, Alison Samrany and Melissa (Samrany) Madison and her husband Dan; a son, Chuck Samrany; daughter-in-law, Karla (Davis) Samrany; five grandchildren; Chance and Danielle Madison, Alexandria, Joseph and Joseph Samrany, and a sister, Caroline Martin of Buffalo, NY.
