William Chase Sanders

William “Chase” Sanders, 35, of Independence, passed away in his apartment on February 17, 2018. Chase was a retired veteran with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Glenn and Myrtle Easley. He is survived by his daughter, Matti Reneed Sanders, 10, and his son, Wesley Chase Sanders, 6; his mother, Janet Sanders and step-father, John Jonson; his father, Jim Sanders and step-mother, Pamela Sanders; step-sisters, Secilie and Meredith Johnson; step-brothers, Justin and Josh Sanders; grandparents, Willie and Janice Easley; aunts, Vicky Cohmer and Linda Andes; uncle, Billy Easley; cousins, Kristy Ernst, Jennifer Blackmer, Denise Gilmore and Michael Easley.
