Sandy was born on August 9th 1946 in Carthage, MO. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Lois Baker.
She married husband Delmar "Del" Heishman on August 24th, 1962. They had three children: Sherri Graham (Michael), Terri Davis (Mark), and Delray Heishman (Teresa). They were blessed with 5 grandkids and many great -grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sandy worked many years as a manager at a pharmaceutical company (McPike, Foxmyer and McKesson) before retiring in 1998.
She was a member of the Raymore Christian Disciples of Christ Church and loved her church family.
Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, watching her kids and grandkids play sports and going to garage sales, auctions, estate sales, bowling and fishing.
She was the joy of many hearts. If you described Sandy it would be funny, ornery, feisty, sassy, selfless, full of love, compassion, giving and the best wife, mother, and grandmother anyone could ask for. But, that's just a few because we could type for days and never be able to describe this incredible woman. To know her was to love her.
Sandy is survived by her stepmother Ruth Baird, brother Kenneth "Skip" Baird, twin sister Cindy Baird, and sisters Debbie McWilliam, Ruthann Heberle.
