Michael Saxton, 78, of Independence, MO passed away April 20, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Michael was born July 7, 1939 in Joplin, MO to Donald Leigh and Lois Evelyn (McCollum) Saxton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by his daughter, Gina Butler and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Alec and Carly Butler; and brother, Richard Saxton and wife Kathy.
