Muriel Saylor, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away, Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Independence Health Care Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the East 39th Street Congregation of the Community of Christ. Cremation. Inurnment will be held later at the Victoria Memorial Gardens in Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada. Muriel was born June 23, 1922 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Harry and Sarah (Camlin) Lindsay. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking fishing and camping, Muriel was a member of the East 39th Street Community of Christ. She was married to Frederick M. Saylor on March 6, 1942; he passed away on May 11, 1978. Survivors include; a son, Fred Saylor of Independence; 2 daughters, Judy Neill and Kathy Wood of Independence, MO; 2 brothers, Gordon Lindsay and Ronald Lindsay of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; 2 sisters, Eileen Chambers of Woodlands, TX and Millie Newman of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; 4 grandchildren Cherie Neill and April Sweetland of Blue Springs, MO, Jason Wood of Kansas City, MO and Jamie Wood of Independence, MO and three great grandchildren, Alayna Sweetland, William Sweetland and Ellissa Neill. Donation may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
