Ginger Scanlan, 73, Independence, MO died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at her home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 19, at the Baptist Cemetery in Concordia, MO. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CAPA. Mrs. Scanlan was born March 14, 1932, in Kansas City, MO, to Clifton and Flora (Holtcamp) O�Dell. She had lived in this area her entire life. She was employed for many years as the Office Manager at Mallow Dental Lab. She loved gardening, cooking, sewing especially for CAPA, and spending time with her family. She particularly enjoyed her dogs, Lucy and Casey. She was a charter member of the Sycamore Hills Baptist Church, where she participated in the choir. Ginger is preceded in death by her husband Louis "Bud� Scanlan and her sister Rena Lee Roberts. Survivors include her three daughters, Jackie Bussard, Tonya D. Stephenson, and Dana Howell; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren all of Independence.
